I have the dresses!! Thanks to the lovely Lisa Cochrane at Dragonfly Dress Design studio in Glasgow I have been granted the use of several vintage dresses for the photo shoot in May. Lisa may also be along on the shoot to help with styling (and to protect her dresses from errant pinners).
I've had my eye on Dragonfly as a source for dresses from very early on, due to the wonderful range of vintage dresses that are stocked, as well as Lisa's bespoke range, so I am overjoyed that she has agreed to lend the dresses for the day.
I have the venue!! Thanks to the generous folk at Kelburn Country Estate, for a nominal amount we are being granted access to the Henhouse (clothes changes and make-up and back up photo studio if the heavens open) and the grounds of Kelburn Castle. The picture here is from the waterfall in the glen.
I have the date!! The shoot will be taking place on the 8th of May. Lord Glasgow is also hosting 80 cubs that weekend, so I'm hoping that we don't all bump into each other too often!
Now comes the hard part. Several beautiful young women have shown an interest in taking part in the shoot as models. Several talented make-up artists have also shown an interest. Now I have to find the right models for the right dresses and the MUAs (industry acronym dontcha know) who can make it on the day!
