Last Friday saw me descending on Greenock once again for the second of my "family" weddings. I'd been fortunate enought to shoot Kevin's sister's wedding last year and there was a distinct touch of deja vu as at least one half of the wedding party was full of familiar faces.
I was up at Nicola's parents' house for some of the getting ready shots, bumping into the same videographer, Alan, as at last year's wedding.
The ceremony was at St Patrick's in Greenock. An awkwardly placed modern church with front steps on a narrow stretch of one way street. This was the first wedding I'd been to, where the priest had to nip next door because he'd forgotten his bible, but it did give everybody a wee chance to giggle, breathe and relax.
The reception was at Greenock Town Hall again and was a fun do with simple, moving and funny speeches, romantic first dances and all the usual shenanigans of a large wedding party.
