Following on from last year's bridal project I managed to gather together another shoot, with the help of Susan at Estate Life I assembled a shoot around the wonderful venue that is Ardoch, Gartocharn.
Although Ardoch's primary focus is on its role as a charitable foundation and it dabbles in the corporate market, the venue is amazingly well suited as a wedding venue for smaller weddings. It can fit a reception and service for 50 people into the modern "barn" extension and has a range of accomodation for up to 30 people, if the bridal party want to stay over. Although we didn't benefit from the views much, due to the February weather, it sits atop a small hill with views right across Loch Lomond.
Speaking to Luke and Brianne, who manage the business side of things at Ardoch you really get a feel for their ethos, tailoring the service they offer to the needs of the wedding couple and their guests.
Anyway, as you can probably tell, we all loved shooting at this wonderful venue. With a little persistence and a lot of generosity from Eleganza Sposa we were loaned three dresses from their own collection which were complimented by some hair accessories from Regal Rocks.
Make up was at the hands of Angie Davis, a local makeup artist from Balloch. Hair was at the hands of Caroline. Both did an excellent job in creating 3 unique looks for the models.
We ended up with 3 models, Kirstie who had been with me at the Dragonfly shoot last year, Yas who I had met through a Scottish Creative Network networking evening and Beth from Superior. The picture below is a quick preview from the shoot, featuring the 3 models and their dresses in the main bridal suite.
