Every now and then in my creative work I come across a model, makeup artist, designer or other talented creative person that I'd really love to work with. One such person is the talented actress and model, Nicolette McKeown. I first kind of bumped into her when she was modelling for a makeup artist at one of the college shows in 2011 and we'd muttered about shooting together on and off since then.
So, Glasgow and Scotland being the small worlds they are, I'd bumped into her again at the Steampunk Café in Drury Street in Glasgow, where I found out that she was the proud owner of a Lara Croft, Tomb Raider, costume.
So Spring came along and we had the promise of an almost dry day, which lead us to meet at last for a shoot. I returned to one of my favourite locations at Kelburn Country Park, having been inspired by the waterfall glen as backdrop for our photographs.
(Please note the guns are plastic props and permission was gained from the park manager before the photoshoot began.
