A few days break in the busy wedding seasons and I have managed to pack quite a lot in.
After months of planning and some last minute cast shuffling, I was able to bring my Alien Queen shoot into being. Returning to the beautiful location at Springkell the Alien Queen (Carol) and her servant (Raghad) were brought to spectacular life by the makeup arts of Tracey Finlay and Louise Morris. This shoot finally gave me the change to shoot with the Imaginarium Apparel as well. A couple of furtive visits to train stations in Edinburgh and Glasgow allowed the exchange of outfits!
The following day was more of an ad hoc shoot I was invited to the banks of Loch Lomond to shoot with Conor. He'd been under the paintbrush of June Long and this Greek/Irish lad from Coventry suddenly acquired a saltire under his skin. So art, not politics.
And I topped off the week with my alter ego, rowing a longship between Tarbert and Portavadie at their traditional boat and Viking festival.
