Now obviously this is my attempt at a blog and I mostly talk about what I do, with occasional digressions about venues, photography and sucklike. But the web is awash with blogs, some very tailored, some very general, some highly informative, some highly decorative and some completely pointless.
I though as a new feature on my own blog I'd discuss some of the blogs I've come across:
Carriages: This blog by a pair of wedding planners in the Midlands has a focus towards Asian weddings, but many of their tips and inspirations could suit any wedding couple. It's well written, though obviously not giving away too many secrets!
Rock N Roll Bride: One of the most popular and well known blogs with a slight focus towards the retro, boho and kitsch. It's grown so big that they even publish a magazine and regularly write for some of the wedding magazines. It's quite a good source of links to providers for retro and alternative weddings, whilst also covering real life weddings. Of course some of these end up like a trip through all the instagram filters as the "retro" gets a bit clichéd.
Love my dress: The focus here is on the fashion as you would expect from the title. Covering pictures from real life weddings as well as discussing some of the designer's offerings.
Wedding Sparrow: This blog is aimed more towards the aspirational, artistic approach to weddings, so some of the photography is alsmost catalog/brochure like in its quality, but it can serve as a source of inspiration for your wedding photography hit list and for how to make the most of a location with your photographs.
